Scholarships
Scholarships are available at three different levels: General, Florida Division, and through our Chapter. Mary Custis Lee 1451 is proud to offer financial assistance to qualifying students pursuing higher education.
All applicants wishing for a UDC scholarship must apply through a sponsoring Chapter. To learn more about scholarship requirements and the application process, please get in touch with our Chapter President.
General Scholarships
There are over 40 scholarships available. Current CofC scholarships can be found here.
A General Scholarship applicant must submit a completed application packet to the Second Vice President of the sponsoring Chapter by March 1 to allow time for the Chapter to submit the packet to the Division's Second Vice President by March 15.
Florida Division Scholarships
Among the qualifications for Florida Division scholarships, a student must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and provide the service record of their Confederate ancestor or an approved CofC or UDC application.

A Division Scholarship applicant must submit a completed application packet to the Second Vice President of the sponsoring Chapter by June 15 to allow time for the Chapter to submit the packet to the Division's Second Vice President by July 1. Exception - Gwen Hadden Vocational/Tech Scholarship application may be submitted anytime during the year.
Mary Custis Lee Chapter 1451 Scholarships
Our Chapter scholarships require maintaining a 3.0 GPA while enrolled in at least 12 or more credit hours per year and may be renewed for up to 4 years of study. Amounts are awarded based on available scholarship funds at the time of application.
